Hi -
does anyone happen to know of any restaurants in the theatre district (aside from Joe Allen’s) that are still requiring proof of vaccination in order to do indoor dining? Was hoping to eat somewhere outdoors tomorrow but looks like it might not be warm enough.

I was at Carmine's in Times Square last Saturday and Juniors last Friday. Both did not require a vax card to enter. However, that may change as there is yet another surge on the horizon.

Yes, I would imagine that restaurants dropped that as soon as they were able.

I don't know but I would say highly doubtful, especially in the theatre district. I think your best bet would be to go to 9th ave where you will encounter many less tourists. Remember that over 90% of adult NYers are vaccinated. Also there are some pretty well heated outdoor places.

It's expected to reach 68 degrees tomorrow -- how warm do you need it to be?

We are going for dinner between shows - says cloudy on my phone and in the low 60s around 6pm; Could definitely change and be warmer - I’m just trying to have an alternate to outdoor dining.

That's not the point. Different people have different needs.

My grandmother is cold in 80 degrees. My mother is cold in 70. Everyone’s different, “champ”.

I'm confused. Are you looking for a restaurant that does or doesn't require you to be vaxxed? There were running lists of places that were requiring them but they were being targeted by anti-vax lunatics so hopefully that stopped being a thing.

I am looking for restaurants that are still requiring proof of vaccination. The reason I said “aside from Joe Allen’s” is because while I believe they are still requiring proof to dine, they don’t have any reservation times left on OpenTable.
I am not comfortable dining indoors if venues are not requiring proof of vaccination so we were planning to eat outdoors (since NYC dropped the vaccine mandate) but it looks like it will be cloudy and in the low 60s and therefore might be too chilly. So, I was looking for indoor options.
