As far as I know, Half Time is still aiming for a spring 2017 opening, though as Gotta Dance, I can't say that I found it particularly interesting or memorable. Spongebob appears to be in a holding pattern and while it was interesting, it was also something of an incohesive mess. Some fun and visually stunning moments in a kitchen-sink show that resembled Spider-Man 1.0 in its need for editing and coherent story-telling. And for all the creativity that went into the visual design, the lack of creativity in the staging and choreography was disappointing.
A shame nothing happened with Tales of the City. Would love to hear that score.
I still wish Toxic Avenger got more love. It's such a great show. Wish they could whip together a tour or something. Same with Bat Boy.

The La Mirada/Sacramento Music Circus production of Hunchback was one of my favorite nights of theatre ever. So incredibly stunning. At the end, the entire balcony gave John McGinty a standing ovation and signed applause for him.
I also think Children of Eden has a great score and potential...the book is kind of eh. "In Whatever Time We Have" is one of my absolute favorite showtunes of all time.

I was a very big fan of Randy Newman's Faust when I saw it in La Jolla
