We watched the movie in my theatre class, but I had to miss a few days due to work and I've never really seen the show, just heard the recording, so I need a little help. Thanks :)

First Act:
HAPPY! HAPPY! JESUS CHRIST WE'RE HAPPY!
Second Act:

INTO THE WOODS is one of the most brilliant, BRILLIANT shows ever written - and to those of you that have seen the original video - which I would imagine is everyone (not the wretched revival,) will agree. You can't write a paper based on the opinions of people on a message board. You should have watched the movie on your own, it's incredible and very easy to find. Do you still have time to go find it?

This is actually for a test grade. I need serious help. I'd use an actualy on line synopsis, but she'd probably know I copied.

That's the beauty of paraphrasing. Besides if we tell you that constitutes plagiarism anyways.
And P.S. Munk I am a Sondheim fanatic. I have personally contacted him and I own every recording of his and have seen all of his shows. I fully realize the beauty of Into The Woods.

If you asked me for the synopsis of Assassins I could tell you. It's just Into the Woods I know nothing about, besides the fairy tales and Jack's solo...which I sing at the top of my lungs while I drive down the highway.

No offense, but definitely still plagiarizing. Any time you take someone else's work and treat it as your own, that's plagiarizing. No matter whose work it is.
Make your own decision as to what you feel is right, it's not my decision, but it is plagiarizing.

Just because I have nothing better to do, I will try to help:
ACT I-
-Show begins with the Prolouge introducing several conflicts (Baker wants a child, Jack wishes his cow would give him milk, Cinderella wants to go to the ball, etc.) At the end of the prolouge, all of the characters are on their way to acheive their goals to get what they want. The Baker and his wife need to collect 4 items (1-Cow as white as milk, 2-Hair as yellow as corn, 3-Slipper-pure as gold, 4-A cape-red as blood) and return the items to the witch (who set a curse upon the baker's family so he could never have children) by the stroke of midnight in 3 days time(?)
Song number 2-Cinderella at her Mother's Grave-
Cinderella visits her mother's grave and wishes to her mother that she could go to the king's festival. Her mother responds with a lovely little song that annoys me, and gives her daughter a beautiful dress to wear. Cinderella runs off and the next person you see (I believe) is Jack. Jack is walking with his cow, Milky White, to market to sell Milky White (his mother's order). We are introduced to a..mysterious character named: The Mysterious Man. He has a small unimportant conversation with Jack and then runs off before Jack can really talk to him. Jack continues on his way. The next characters we run into are the Baker and Little Red Riding Hood. They meet up and the Baker notices her *CAPE AS RED AS BLOOD* and really wants it. He tries to convince LRRH to give him the cape, but she refuses. There is a comical part in that scene where he steals the cape and she begins to cry..hysterically (SP) and he returns it to her to make her stop. She is mad at him and runs off. Then LRRH runs into the wolf and he sings his song, "Hello Little Girl" revealing his "plan" to the audience of how he is going to eat her. After his song, she runs off and he gets ahead of her to her grandmother's house. When LRRH arrives at her Granny's house, she is eaten by the wolf. The Baker enters and walks by the Granny's house to find that LRRH and Granny have been eaten. He stabs the wolf-rescuing LRRH and Granny and LRRH gives the baker her CAPE for saving her and her grandmother. Wow-I really can't finish.. anyone else want to start where I left off?

Munkus, what is it with you and asking people's ages? Based on your behavior- and your age, too, if you're really 18- you have no justification for asking others to act like adults.
And Captain- c'mon. Homework help doesn't mean others do your homework for you. Ask a legit question and I'm sure people will be glad to help you.

Posted: 11/8/04 at 11:32pmWow I did not realize the video was so good. I bought the OBCR and did not like it at all. Now I want to watch it. Are all of the videos of Sondheim's shows good? I'm sorry but I have never seen any on Sondheim's work. I am only 15 and have just recently became interested in musical theatre this year.
