Yeah, it looks like everyone knows. She'll be Evelyn in Ragtime. I don't know Savannah personally and didn't know if or when this news would come out so I didn't want to be the one to spill the beans if for some reason she didn't want it to be known.

Kerry Butler has originated her last three roles on Broadway, the most recent of which garnered her a Tony nomination.

Why would she replace in a show like ROCK OF AGES? Don't count on it.

as far as i know Savannah's last show is Sept 13th, the same as Wesley Taylors...

and please, do not let the Kerry Butler rumors be true. Love Connie, really do, but he needs to shut it.

He's an actor not a writer- spelling correctly is optional.

But he is able to give career advice? Spelling correctly is optional? He seems to want her to do the show badly. Don't you think she would like to have her name spelled correctly?

I don't know about other cities, but when I saw Mary Poppins here in Cleveland, I saw everything from ice cream to wine being taken in at people's seats (that made me realize how lucky I've been with good theatre etiquette in the past because I never understood how candy wrappers could be so annoying until I was in a theatre full of people chowing down during a show lol).

"Catch Me If You Can" is on a hiatus for like a year so if Kerri were to do it, it would probably be as something to fill in the gap between now and then.
