re: Is Megan Mullally still in Young Frankenstein?

Just got back from Sutton and Andrea's last performance, but yes Megan is still with the show.
Marie: Don't be in such a hurry about that pretty little chippy in Frisco. Tony: Eh, she's a no chip!

is she still sleeping with Mel ?
"I don't see that many plays, and for me, musicals are rarely pleasing. I feel the actors are being put through a kind of nightmarish labor. They're like animals being forced to pull heavy carts of vegetables at incredible speeds." --- Wallace Shawn

You know, one of my friends from college is an usher there and I was talking to him yesterday and he said today was Sutton and Andrea's last show and I was kind of unsure. I knew it was Sutton's but I hadn't read it was Andrea's so I was kind of surprised. I guess he had it right. I'm glad I caught the show yesterday then. Those two made the show for me.

Yes, both Sutton and Andrea were brilliant today...sad to see them go. I'm looking forward to seeing Sutton in SHREK and I hope Andrea gets work again real soon.

Andrea was definitely the best part of the show and will be missed.

So since Andrea has left earlier than reported, does this mean Beth will take over on Tuesday or will they just use Andrea's understudy until Beth's original start date?
isn't it nice to know a lot? / and a little bit not.

re: Is Megan Mullally still in Young Frankenstein?

To anyone who was at Sutton and Andrea's last show, how was it? Did they adlib at all? Tear up? Any extra long applauses? What'd Roger say for his speech? Did Sutton or Andrea say anything?

Also, does anyone know if there would be any boots surfacing?

Thanks!

Boots of the show (both from the pre-Broadway run AND Broadway) are already available. As is always the case, expect one to turn up for Sutton and Andrea's final performance as well.

Keep an eye out!

Andrea, Sutton, Jon Patrick Walker, and Paul Castree didn't do much adlibbing, if none at all. Surprisingly, the one that acknowledged it the most was Megan Mullally. During "Surprise", when she's introducing her entourage, she's supposed to say, "Tell me, darling Bob (who's played by Paul Castree), what's in my stars?" Lately she's been adding things like "dear Bob" or "sweet Robert" or something, but on Sunday she said, "dear, sweet, darling, loyal Bob, who would never leave me for a 9 to 5 job". Also, when Andrea touched her leg at the end of the scene, instead of saying, "Alright", Megan said, "Oh yes!".

Roger's speech at the end was sweet. It wasn't expected. There were huge gasps when he announced it was Andrea's last as well.

I will miss all four, but Andrea most of all. She's one of the nicest people I've ever met. I'm excited to see Beth, though.

There has been no final performance announced for Roger; Megan's last performance is August 3 @ 3 PM.

Andrea Martin (Frau Blucher) was replaced by Beth Leavel, who was recently in The Drowsy Chaperone.

Sutton Foster (Inga) was replaced by Kelly Sullivan...who I haven't heard of or anything about her.

Megan Mullally (Elizabeth) will be replaced by Michele Ragusa, who played Evelyn Nesbit in Ragtime (on Broadway) and Amalia in She Loves Me at Paper Mill Playhouse.

That was already a funny adlib, but now I saw that Paul Castree will be in the "9 to 5" cast... Which makes it even funnier. :)
