For all you doubters --- looks like I was right.

I wouldn't post false information.

Glad Tommy did so well.

I didn't doubt the date he'd start, only if whether or not Kiril was still going to remain as Billy. I took that bit of information out anyways, but I knew when Tommy was starting.

re: Is anyone seeing Tommy Batchelor as Billy tonight?

I was there this evening and thought Tommy Batchelor played the role of Billy Elliot very well. After I gave him a high five at stage door, he commented he was very nervous tonight.

* * Can someone confirm whether he lost balance during the tail end of Solidarity (or were my eyes playing games with me)? * *

Tonight, I sat in Center Orchestra second to last row. During intermission, I ran into David Bologna who sat with family(?) in the last few rows of left orchestra. Didn't notice where the other Billys were, but it was pretty cool that all four Billys and both Michaels were at stage door. Matthew (small boy) even signed my playbill. :)

wow alot happended last night. i guess it was something speacil that they let the three billys and david sit in the last row. great to hear the reviews. a little note the ballet girls and the debbies(meaning erins standby too) are the one of the first ones out of the stagedoor. glad to hear he got great reviews, but my dad will be disappointed if he doesnt see kiril, david, and trent after seeing them on the promotional stuff expectionally the pbs spaecil.
tommy is my playbill said billy standby.
if he def staying in the roatation, they should change the website. i feel lile its demotion for 2 of 3 billys who usually do 3 shows a week.
still unsure about him joining the rotation, and still pretty mad about the rumor kiril is leaving.

It's alright, we all do it sometimes...my dad is the king of making up new words, even when it's not late...haha

Sorry to get off the topic. I too would like to know if Tommy is officially joining the rotation...

Not to worry... the other boys are excited about Tommy performing and enjoy the break. It was wonderful that they sat in the back row and watched the show as a sign of support. I agree about the rumours, though. The show will outlast the original group of boys, but there's no sense in trying to outguess nature on who leaves when.

Yeah, but you will get used to the changing of the Billys. One will leave and then another talented boy comes in, so its really not that bad.

Trent was on as Billy in the evening performance.

Any thoughts on who might be on Sat. 2/14 eve? That's when I am going next.

Yes, Tommy is in the rotation. Greg posted it on his blog.

"February 11, 2009:
Congrats to Tommy Batchelor on his debut as "Billy" on February 10.
He is now part of the regular rotation, along with David, Trent, and Kiril."

Good for Tommy. That means then that, without anyone getting sick or injured and missing a show, they would all have the same shows each week...unless they just opt to change the rotation every week to vary it.

And hang on, when did you win the discus?
