I now have an equal chance at seeing a different Billy.

"It's going to be so sad when one of them has to leave..."
I disagree. It's certainly a sad day for the Billy concerned and also his family and friends but they have been on a wonderful adventure which they would not have missed for the world. One of the fascinations of the show is seeing new Billys (and Michaels) start and watching their interpretation of the role. I have been fortunate to see 14 boys perform as Billy and they were all fantastic and all different.

Yea, are they really gonna have the boys play the same shows every week? That defeats the purpose of the idea of not seeing the show for the person playing Billy.
Does the London rotation switch the order weekly? They have 4 boys.

Yes. There seems to be no set pattern to the weekly schedule but a Billy will not usually perform on the same day two weeks on the run.

Ok, so if David is on today, he won't be on this coming Thursday?

I actually like them having the same days....that way you know which Billy you will see and you can plan around that if you want to see a certain boy.
I couldn't agree more.
I saw Kiril & David 4X each before catching Trent last week and last night. Plus Tommy in-between was a really nice treat. :)
These guessing games are too mind boggling.
I know I shouldn't complain since I've been so fortunate to have seen it as many times as I have already. By the end of this month, I would've seen it 13X... assuming that I don't end up with more tickets.
that is true and hopefully the same with michael. good luck to tommy he has alot to live up to with trent, david a, and kiril. i feel they will go no set schedule. how is the ballet girls interaction with tommy on his first day?. trent also congratulated tommy on his first night. sgv i was wondering how is frank as michael, since i read or heard no reviews of him?.

I have seen Frank 3 times. He is very funny. He makes more sounds than David does. He comedic timing is fantastic as well. I think both David and Frank are equal as far as humor goes.

Anyone know if/when Keeane is going on for Michael?

I never said that - lol. I said it doesn't usually happen in London. I don't know what they will do in New York.
Personally I think the rotation is a good idea. In London there is a group of people that see the show every Thursday matinee. The beauty of the rotation is they get to see all the Billys - not just the same one every week.

I'm seeing the show tomorrow night at 8. You think I have a chance of seeing Tommy? I would love to see someone new in the role!!!
Broadway Legend Joined: 9/25/08
You probably are, being that Kiril, Trent, and David have done the past three, Tommy is the next one in the rotation.

Somebody has posted on ATC that they spoke to Greg Jbara yesterday and he said that Tommy would be performing tonight. If this is correct then, unfortunately, it looks like you may miss him tomorrow.
It has been up in the air for the rotation.
Is it wrong if my dad wants to see kiril, trent, and david a as billy?.
Maybe they are seeing if Tommy can handle the role. Hope he does well tonight.

You will never know how much that disappoints me. I was so excited about seeing Kiril this Saturday. He was my 'first' Billy and remains my favorite (and except for Michael, I've seen them all). I'd give an arm to be able to see him again.

If my theory is correct next week may look like...
Tuesday- David
Wednesday- Tommy and Kiril
Thursday- Trent
etc.

I have seen them all too and Kiril is still my favorite and I'm dying to see him again too, so I am in the exact same situation.

Since having 4 Billys rotate every 4th show would leave them working the same days every week Im REALLY sure it now will get impossible to predict who will be on, They'll mix it up for sure. Now in London you could check at the stage door and SOMETIMES get a week in advance list which usually was accurate. What wont happen is the rotation be very predictable...ever. With 4 Billys having them take time off is also a possibility.

Tommy DID perform last night. I walked by the Imperial while heading to ITH.
So to summarize the week so far, it has been Tommy, Kiril, Trent, Tommy ...

Anyone know who is on right now?
I was there on Saturday afternoon and IT WAS KIRIL!!! I was so happy I almost cried. We stopped to visit with Greg afterwards and as we were leaving the theatre we ran into Kiril coming down from his dressing room. We finally had a chance to let this truly remarkable young man know just how special he is to us.

Yea, I saw Tommy. Unfortunately he's injured and couldn't do the regular choreography. He wore a brace during the show. I hope he gets better soon.
