Corden seems like an easy spot, and perhaps they did offer an olive branch post-Tonys, but I'm sure the show would have to pay to fly the cast to LA, and they seem not willing to do that.
It seems pretty ridiculous since all of the late night talk shows are on summer hiatus right now and are running reruns currently.

Well, if he's asking about Michael, it would be one cast member... and either Iconis could go or let Corden's band play backup.

This board's determination to **** on and completely shut down any legitimacy of Be More Chill as a show is baffling to me. There is zero need to fuel this fire, and continuously beat the show while it is down.
Why this board refuses to accept the younger audience and fanbase of Be More Chill, but act exactly as immaturely and ridiculous as stans of The Prom, I will never understand. If BroadwayWorld hadn't banned all of those extremely active (extremely younger) users, this board would have SOME age diversity still. Instead, we all continue to suffer as an older generation refuses to welcome new types of people into the Broadway fandom."
Hilarious AND delusional. You think the majority of the people on this board are OLDER?

Jesus, stick a fork in this turkey, it’s done. Be More Shrill was simply not good.
Not.
Good.

what world are you living on & what BWW board are you reading? there are a lot of active younger fans on here, myself included. i'm 16 Y/O & i'm sure there are other users in my age range who browse & post too. just because not everyone advertises their age doesn't mean that the board is made up of "an older generation". you're the "older generation" compared to me.
anyways... i can't speak on the maturity of BMC asking for a spot to perform on a late show but i can say for sure that their cast members are immature, specifically gerard canonico. this tweet he posted (& now deleted) is so petty for someone as grown as him. he's obviously talking about reeve carney & how his personal style mimics orpheus'

I don't know. I've enjoyed Jason Tam's work over the years and he seems like a good guy.

Most late night shows are still airing until early to mid-August, but usually take 1-2 weeks off for the July 4th holiday.
Well, according to my TV Guide app, they’re all still running reruns until at least July 21st. Even if they got a slot, I’m not sure what that’d accomplish. I don’t think that’d help fill those seats at premium prices before closing on August 11.

If most of you don't like this show and actors than why are you talking about it. I think alot of you are taking their comments a little too seriously. All Joe did was make a comment and I understand why he is so upset about how things went for BMC. I guess everything the cast says will be taken the wrong way and hey once this shows closes you guys will just find something or someone else to attack. I know it's fun to have bias against a show but please don't attack this show or any future show just cause you don't like it.
The show's flopped and will be gone in a month. Must we beat this dead horse?
I'll never understand hating a show so much that you can't stop talking about it. What'd it do to you??
Anything for publicity but the show will be forgotten once it's done!
It's pretty much already forgotten. And Corden's tweet the day after the Tonys was his olive branch.

Will the show reach drinking age? Maybe not, but based on the number of upcoming productions already listed on the Rodgers and Hammerstein site it will hardly be forgotten for at least the next few years.
The audience for this show doesn't watch TV better yet late night talk shows LOL

There's a lot of Michael Riedel around here. Some people derive pleasure from seeing others struggle and fail.

Finally, something we agree on. ![]()

But they do use YouTube, where every clip from every late-night talk show ends up right after it airs on TV.
