Is it too late for Spring Shows to Announce?

Might be a dumb question, But, Is it too late for shows like Ain't Too Proud or Hadestown or even the London Dreamgirls revival to come in? I realize we have a few theatres still open for the spring but it seems that it is getting too late for these to come in. Maybe this is just me wanting some better musicals coming in this spring. But, I am truly curious.

All theatres will fill up before awards season.  More things will unexpectedly close and more shows will jump in.  Isn't Dreamgirls going in to the Hudson?

Studio 54 would be perfect

Children of a Lesser God is taking Studio 54 for the spring, so Dreamgirls is definitely not going there.

The Lunt seems more for larger shows and I can’t see Hadestown in there. Are there any musicals that can move up their timelines, like Beetlejuice?

Theatre's That Will Be Open this Spring:

Lunt Fontanne- Charlie closes Jan. 14th

Booth- Meteor Shower closes Jan. 21st

Broadway?- Siagon closes Jan 14th

Shows that will likely close:

M. Butterfly- Cort?

Play that Goes Wrong-Lyceum?

School of Rock-Winter Garden?

I truly hope we don't have a lot of theatre's dark this spring due to shows closing unexpectedly at odd times.

(Granted some of this may be wrong. This was me just looking at grosses and what closes when.)

The Booth is booked with THE BOYS IN THE BAND beginning April 30.

The Broadway is booked with ROCKTOPIA March 20-April 29, followed by KING KONG in the fall.

I don't see SCHOOL OF ROCK as "likely to close" this spring, as it's already recouped and typically does well during tourist-heavy times.

"ATP I heard is aiming for fall...Dreamgirls producer Sonia Friedman wanted the Hudson but who knows now when it's coming and Casey and Sonia have Mean Girls this spring and The Prom next fall aiming for Broadway. AS for Hadestown haven't heard anything about Broadway this spring.

Even excluding the Brendon Urie weeks, Kinky is doing MUCH BETTER in 2017 than it did in 2016.  I would be amazed if it closes.  I am betting it will make it at least to the end of next summer.
