Is your room theatre-fied?

There was a thread similar to this on the OT board awhile ago, couldn't find it, though.

I really like seeing other people's Bway-esque rooms... post pictures!

I'll have mine up in a week or so probably.

re: Is your room theatre-fied?

I have a Les Miserables shrine near my light switch.

Near my bed, I've cut out some articles/pictures/ads from magazines to make a Broadway shrine.

re: Is your room theatre-fied?

Pretty much. I have a HUGE Les Mis poster on one wall. A Little Women poster, RENT, and Phantom poster. Also, a picture of Times Square that my best friend got me. I also have a HUGE Friends poster on my wall. Plus all of my cast recordings. I don't have a digital camera so I can't post pictures.

re: Is your room theatre-fied?

I guess I can post a few pictures... don't have all of them available yet.

This is my wall with my costume pieces and pictures from shows I've done:
re: Is your room theatre-fied?

And this is my other partially finished wall... it's not so much Broadway as the rest of my room, but I've got the RENT article from Elle, my Times Square print, and my NYC layout board...

I have a very similar print to yours. Oh, I forgot, I also have the posters of shows I have done on one wall.

Wow you have that original Newsweek RENT article. That was a long time ago. Pretty cool.

I have posters from all the shows I've been in on one wall. Otherwise I have pictures from shows mixed in with the other stuff. I wish I could post pics. but my comp. won't let me.

re: Is your room theatre-fied?

I have a RENT tour poster on the wall above my TV framed. and I have a TITANIC national tour poster framed and signed by the whole cast that I found at a local thrift store, (weird I know...) and then I also have a CATS poster and a DRACULA poster that I need to get frames for...

in addition to those I have framed national tour posters of THE SOUND OF MUSIC signed by the whole cast and the Robert Goulet SOUTH PACIFIC also signed by the whole cast which I found at the thrift store with the TITANIC poster. I think someone donated them... anyway, I plan on probably selling those.

re: Is your room theatre-fied?

*ok, now i found a pic*
I JUST realized that I have no pictures of my room. Dammit. I've got a Phantom poster in front of my dsk, above which is my les miz poster. On the next wall is a poster from when I SM'd Pippin in HS, Then there's Urinetown and Assassins, then I've got a NINE poster signed by the whole cast that I got by winning a scavenger hunt we did at Roundabout (I'm an intern there), Then AIDA and the FROGS, then my Phantom poster that's signed by the whole cast that I got at the theatre for BCEFA, and then my Aspects of Love poster...and I've got phantom STUFF all over the place and sample gels from a Roscoe sample book hanging on fishing line across my window...and tickets from all the shows I've seen in the past few years, and theatre magnets on the door...surprisingly, I thinkt that's it. A lot of my happy theatre stuff is in my room at home in Florida...oh, but my Boy from Oz and Millie posters are in the living room :).

Oh and my Lennon playbill signed by the whole cast is sitting right next to me...

My decor is spit between my house and my apartment at school, but yes. re: Is your room theatre-fied?

I have my Taboo, Streetcar, Piazza, Lennon, TTB and Rent (show and movie) posters here, and my Cabaret, Aida, Millie, Movin' Out, Oklahoma! and new Rent posters in my house. Then I have various magazine things, and flyers all over the walls.

Ha ha!

I have a whole bunch of black and white pictures of London all over my wall. I'm going this summer so they are inspiration.

On my dresser, I have all my playbills, and I'm got to put up the posters I bought at the Flea Market. ttB, Cabaret (2), Assassins, and Nine.

re: Is your room theatre-fied?

Those pictures are great!!

I have a French memo board that is completely covered in Broadway tickets. Broadway posters line my walls (and I mean literally are touching because I wanted to get as many as possible on), and my playbills are in a huge stack in a box on my desk. I have a corner dedicated to all of my Broadway sheet music and Broadway books, and my Playbill bag is proudly displayed in that corner as well.
I have my books and my poetry to protect me...

re: Is your room theatre-fied?

Mine's not very theater-fied. Though I am proud to have a set piece from our college show from this previous spring. We did "Jekyll & Hyde" and I designed the sign for The Red Rat. It's sitting atop my bookshelf re: Is your room theatre-fied?

re: Is your room theatre-fied?

Yeah, I have Phantom and Hairspray posters up... (in frames) and my Wicked poster sitting on my Entertainment center. I can't put anything with tape or any of that junk on my walls... (dumb father). And I did have a shrine of programs, playbills and pictures also up on my entertainment center... but evil neat freak 24 year old sister made me put it away. But I still do have this picture of the Great White Way on my wall that I look at everyday.

Yes, I have zero backbone when it comes to my sister.
