Exciting news - I didn't expect this until spring next year!
Hugh will probably complete filming PAN in England by end of summer? PAN is an origin story of Peter Pan, where Hugh plays the villain Blackbeard.
Why on earth would producers want to put a Hugh Jackman show at one of the smallest theaters on Broadway? That makes absolutely no sense at all.
Because they're guaranteed to get the commerce, they can make afford to lean more on the art. I have much respect for Sonia Friedman.

obviously because of the production concept and because its a very intimate piece.
Why not? It sells-out. It becomes a hot ticket. Ticket prices increase. And it sounds like they might go for an in-the-round feel which maybe drew Jackman to the piece.
