Believe me, ljay, I hope it's not true! The rear mezz should be $76.50 and the balcony should be $36.50. These prices are outrageous.

I agree! That balcony should never be $52.00. It should be $26.50/$36.50 or rush seats. Maybe they'll do a front row rush though.

*Catherine Zeta-Jones will not be performing the role of Desiree from Tuesday - February 16 to Sunday - February 21, 2010, and Tuesday - March 30, 2010, to Sunday - April 4, 2010.
I assume Jayne Paterson is her understudy.

Hooray for Jayne Paterson! She was Mrs. Wilkinson when I saw Billy Elliot, and I really wanted her to take over that role. CZJ avoiders, you'll be in good hands. 
Given the price of tickets, I'm going to aim to see CZJ, even though she's not why I want to see this show. But if discounts become available, I'll definitely make it a point to catch Ms. Paterson.

I completely agree BwayBuff2! I LOATH Leigh Ann Larkin!I don't understand this casting!
Unfortunately I've seen her in the few things she has done over the years and she has over sang and over acted in about every show she's ever been in. When I saw Gypsy it was like watching a characature of June.
Petra should be down-to-earth and sexy ..... I would never describe Leigh Ann Larkin as either of those things. She is surface and has no body awareness at all. ( My gosh did I cringe every time she tried to lift a leg in Gypsy)
She brings no sincerity and ZERO depth on stage and anyone who truly knows Leigh Ann, other than the fake smile and signing of autographs at the stage door, can tell you it's because she has is not sincere and has zero depth in real life.
