It's official! (Rent countdown)

One month untill the Rent film (hopefully) sweeps American cinemas! Any last minute preperations? Party planning?

The day it comes out is the day that our student written and directed Christmas show will be rehearsing over Thanksgiving break so, her being a huge Renthead, we're going to all go see it together right afterwards.

You guys have any plans or planning?

I'm traveling the morning of the 23rd, but I'm definitely seeing it that night.

Just a request since it's early-on: Can we not bump this thread every day just to announce it's another day closer to the release? It's just that 2 pages of numbers and exclamation points would get a bit redundant.

EDIT: Also, another request - anyone with a review of the Rent movie (especially advance screenings) pleas keep ALL opinions out of the subjuct line so anyone who hasn't seen it yet won't have any pre-concieved opinions one way or another if they don't want to. I was thinking about this origonally when it was going to be a limited release at first, but still.

Im going to the first showing at a theater near me, then going to everyone I can afford to go to after that!

oh i saw a preview on tv last night and i was flipping out!!I'M SOOOOO EXCIDED!!!

I need to see it at least twice. One with my mom, and one with three of my interested non-RENThead friends. After words, I might do do some kind of celebration.

Because of the Thanksgiving break, my classes end at 11am, and both my friends are done at one. So, after everyone is done, we are traveling to the big screen/stadium seating/digital surround sound/huge theater near us and catching a matinee. I can't wait.

we have a half-day because of thanksgiving, but like i've told my friends, i'm spending the rest of the day in the movie theater. so many of my friends want to see it, so i'm just going to have to go a bunch of times. not that i'm complaining.

I have no school that day and my friends and I plan to spend the whole day watching it. Showing after showing.

I hope to catch a midnight showing on the 22nd/23rd, despite that I do have school to teach the next day. Oh well.

If I LOOOOVVEEE it then I'll probably drag everyone and their mom the afternoon of the 23rd.

i arrive at my mom's at midnight on the 22nd. i'll be at the local cinema~plex for the first showing on the 23rd. and then i'll try to drag a friend who's anti-RENT on fri or sun...
