"Jackee is listed on My Space as being in the cast when it plays Buffalo in June, early July. I see it the end of June and will post a review then."

WOOHOO! I have my tickets for July 5th in Buffalo. Maybe we will be her first city! I love me some Jackee!!!! "Oh Mah-weeee!!!!" I cant wait!

Is it confirmed that Buffalo will be her first city?
Just wondering because I live in Rochester and will be seeing the show several times while it is here.

Looks like that will be the case, as it opens in Buffalo on June 18, and I've found numerous releases similar to the following:

"She will join the touring company of the smash musical Wicked in the role of Madame Morrible on June 18, 2008."

That really depends on what other offers arrive during those 3 months. I'm also working as a director now so I might have other productions that need me experience. Ha, ha, I'm just playin'. Really it depends on how I like the role and I can't find that out until my first night on stage.

yup. I'm missing her by a city... and 14 days.

I worked with her on a national tour of A Christmas Carol three or four years ago and she's a lovely lady. I wonder what she will do with the role... will she make it a wisecracking street-wise version? Or will she show us something totally different? I may just have to buy a ticket to Buffalo...

Good for her! I bet she'll be great and will wow many people with her talent. Don't forget that she basically created the role of Sandra on 227; it was supposed to be a 6-episode stint.

She currentlly only contracted up until the end of the Otawwa stop in August. She said if she likes the role and has no other jobs happening she may extend if asked.

Yes, they are contracted until November I belive.

Anybody heard how Carmen and Katie are holding up on the tour?

I've not seen either of them in the past, so I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised!
