I wanted to not like him when he took over Late Late, but I cannot help it. I like him and think he will be great.

He's a Tony winner, a visible presence on CBS, and starred in the Into the Woods movie, I really think it's ideal.

Absolutely thrilled with this decision - he's young, he's talented, and he won't take attention away from the stars....like some other hosts did.

His show has been a disappointment, but loved him in One Man Two Guvnors. Even in Into the Woods.

Loved him in INTO THE WOODS, love him on his show. Very happy he is hosting. I think he'll do a fabulous job.

Agreed! Plus he has some clout so maybe the ratings will be up too.
I feel the hosts were announced much later last year, so hopefully this means a better planned show overall. Exciting!

Personally, I think it's an inspired choice. Plus, he reminds me of a huggable teddy bear. James Corden likes to have fun and also make fun of himself from time to time. (That video of him auditioning for the role of Cookie Lyon with the actual Cookie Lyon is priceless.)
