Considering that when I saw the production on Sunday Katie essentially screamed and screached through Little Girls and Easy Street, I think Jane will be fine. I have a feeling even though Jane Lynch was mist certainly cast as Miss Hannigan because Lynch is almost always typecast as the heartless b****, she is going to try and bring some warmth to Miss Hannigan, to try and play against type.

IMO - it is nice that she is able to do something different from her inane character on "Glee".

It sounded very mechanical to me-very much a recording, but I am sure that in her stage presentation where visuals become part of the singing,it will be a great interpretation.

I thought it sounded very autotuned. I can't imagine based on what I have heard Jane sing previously that she will be able to hit and sustain those notes in real life. We shall soon see!

I loved this performance on Glee...and once this song started my ears perked up and I was enthralled...maybe they under utilized Jane in Glee for musical numbers...with all the bitter older lady songs she could have sung...I immediately thought of the LADYS WHO LUNCH!...I think she could knock this song out of the park as well...
