I know there was a thread somewhere on the topic of who do want to host SNL but I can't locate it. Really pleased to hear Jane Lynch will host Oct 9. She'll blast it outa 30 Rock! ( can't wait to see what kind of Glee parody they will have)

Lynch apparently did a lot of theatre in Chicago though. I wish she would do Broadway though...

Jesus, a bit of an overreaction, huh? Actors are only actors if they do live theatre? She's 50 years old and her career started in live theatre. She has clearly found more success on television and screen. Any decision to not return to the stage does not demote her to 'actress'. Get off your high horse.

Um...how dare she not choose to do stage work anymore? As well as gaining more success, she probably prefers doing television? Nothing wrong with that...

While I would LOOOOOVE to see her on Broadway, playing Miss Hannigan in a revival of Annie, I respect her decision. She's been in the business for years, and at age 50 she's more in demand than ever. Let her cash in on it.
