has won another fan in me. I brought The Boy From Oz CD with some X-mas money and fell in love with his version of I Honestly Love You...now if only I could see that scene live. Maybe I shouldn't have brought the CD because now I want to return to NYC! Tell me what's scene like? Thanks!

Well as a fan of Jarrod... I STRONGLY recommend buying his CD from Damn Yankees (the revival) He gave an amazing performance.

Emick is always wonderful. He makes all of his appearances in BFO count. I Honestly Love You is his ghostly serenade to the grieving Peter Allen.

Well...you all knew I was going to reply to this one! LOL!

Jarrod is amazing in the 10-15 minutes he is onstage in the show. He takes a miniscule role (I know, there are no small roles!) and really makes you understand how Peter can fall for him.

(Warning:

If you don't agree with that statement...I don't care! Its a new me! Its my opinion! :) )

I am emotionally attached to that song and if I were to explain the reason, most of you would be blown out of the water...so lets just say that for me, this particular scene and song has me in tears each time I am blessed to see the show.

KTSWAZ...I will explain that scene if you would like...but I will do it via PM for spoiler reasons. So let me know I you would like me to do that!

The more you listen to his song, the more you find added poignancy to it.

The scene is one of the dramatic moments in the show - both Jarrod and Hugh are particularly good in the scene - Jarrod as Greg giving comfort to the grieving Peter ( Hugh).

Go see the show!

Agreed, Jarrod is wonderful in this role as he was in ALL his others. What a voice!

I was just about to say that. His singing in that show is phenomenal, too. I don't remember the song, but there's one right after he sleeps with Frank-N-Furter, I believe. I LOVE that song.

As gifted as Emick is, it's a shame that he has played smallish roles in DAMN YANKEES, ROCKY HORROR and BOY FROM OZ, this talented guy needs to be headlining a show. Is he really only in BFO for 15 minutes? His role seemed larger than that to me. Maybe he just made such a strong impression I thought it was a larger role.

I just ran into him on the street tonight. He is doing the new musical coming to Broadway "Ring Of Fire". The music of Johnny Cash. I believe he is leading it. I can't wait to see him in this.

I'm so excited about "Ring of Fire"... I think it'll be really interesting, and if it's true that Jarrod is leading the cast, it'll be 10 times better! His voice is magical, to say the least.

and "Ring of Fire" premieres in SF! Yay! haha, that means I can see it, thank god.

Jarrod had his shot at a leading role but left "All Shook Up" on his own choosing.

And Jarrod was not the first choice for Damn Yakees role. It was Jered Shea.

I thought Jarrod was doing the new Frank Wildhorn musical about F. Scott Fitzgerald and Zelda. Did that project fall through?
