As part of his movie script reading series, Jason Reitman is doing an all-female GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS. I know it's the film version and not Broadway, but I thought it was worth sharing. The cast so far:
Robin Wright as Ricky Roma
Catherine O’Hara as Shelley Levene
Maria Bello as Dave Moss
Allison Janney as George Aaronow
Mae Whitman as John Williamson

Sounds like a train wreck. All those women calling each other "c*cksucker" just won't have the same effect.
Sounds like, if nothing else, a really fun experiment with the potential to be something amazing.
Catherine O'Hara? Oh yes please.
I hope Jennifer Coolidge hops onto this.
Please get Jane Lynch as "F*CK You Blake"
Mae Whitman? Cute little Mae Whitman from HOPE FLOATS? She can't use that kind of language!
Mae Whitman was pretty badass in Scott Pilgrim.
You mean that adorable little thing who played alcoholic Meg Ryan's daughter in WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN? That's unpossible!

Wasn't Mae Whitman also Clooney's daughter in "One Fine Day"? The one who literally hid under a table cuddling kittens?
I love that movie and she was about the cutest damn kid I've ever seen.
Mae was on Arrested Development and Parenthood, two of the the past decade's critical darling television shows. That's what I mainly know her from.
Her? What, is she funny or something?
It's as Anne as the nose on plain's face.

Oh she is adorable in that picture, Jordan.
She was also in The Perks of Being a Wallflower last year.

I'm actually really excited about Catherine O'Hara doing this.
I saw an all-female reading of this play in college. It was an interesting idea, but it didn't really work.
David Mamet is crying.
Good.
