Jennifer Lopez's production company will adapt R&H musicals for the screen

I think Vanessa's keys would be a hair too high for her, but for any major adaption, they'll probably just tailor the keys to her range.

It was post-IDOL, when her career started to really come back and she simply got other offers she couldn't resist. I believe the producers said since she has wanted to return to it but her schedule hasn't allowed (has better offers).

Amen to that! Btw,your comment reminded me of the thread that was running at the time "The Sound of Music Live" aired. There was a poster who was a HUGE Carrie Underwood fan and apologist. I think their user name was disneybroadway,or something similar, and they kept defending Underwood's [lack of] acting ability to the death. I haven't seen anything from this person in ages. Does anybody remember this?

I most definitely remember that. That poster was exhausting. LOL.
