This is VERY sad. Why are all these great actors dying all of a sudden? Man, that is depressing.
But what a wonderfully rich career he had. And a true Broadway musical legend .
Try to remember the kind of September
When life was slow and oh
so mellow.
Try to remember the kind of September
When grass was green and grain was yellow.
Try to remember the kind of September
When you were a tender and callow fellow.
Try to remember and if you remember
then follow
follow.
Try to remember when life was so tender
When noone wept except the willow.
Try to remember when life was so tender
When dreams were kept beside your pillow.
Try to remember when life was so tender
When love was an ember about to billow.
Try to remember and if you remember
then follow
follow.
Deep in December it's nice to remember
Although you know the snow will follow.
Deep in December it's nice to remember
Without a hurt the heart will hollow.
Deep in December
it's nice to remember
The fire of September that made you mellow.
Deep in December our hearts should remember and follow
follow.
Sad news indeed.
I enjoyed seeing him on stage and on screen. A loss.
Rest in Peace!
I tear up every time I see his 'Lullaby of Broadway' footage.
Rest in Peace, sir.

NOOO! My entire family said he wouldn't die! As soon as I heard he had cancer I went crying through the house and everyone said "no no he's doing well with his cancer!!" So then I felt better but oh, I'm so sad now! I miss you Jerry Orbach!! I'm going to go watch Beauty and the Beast now

Very sad news. A very nice man too.
At the BROADWAY SHOWSTOPPERS concert, Marc & I remarked both on how great he looked and SOUNDED that night.
I'm in shock. This is such a shame. He's such a wonderful actor.
He'll definitely be missed. I'll light a candle for him tonight!
This is sad. We were all talking about it in my office. He played so many roles so well. A true loss to the entertainment world.
I was so sad to hear about it this morning. May he rest in peace.
