So I'm flipping around, and I come across an ad for a new TV show. All of the sudden I see the glimpse of someone who looks like Jesse, and sure enough it was Jesse. He has a new tv show on Fox!
How exciting!
The sad thing is I recognized him from a half shot of the side of his face. No lines or anything.

Posted: 7/9/08 at 9:02pmI still miss Jesse and The Class, so I'll sure give it a try. But that video preview, and Jerry O'Connell, don't look promising. Hoping the actual show is good. Thanks for the notice.

Posted: 7/9/08 at 9:21pmI LOVED the Class. The premise doesn't sound bad, and I love Jesse with the glasses. I just saw a preview where he had an actual line!

I loved The Class so much, and it was taken away from me.

Unfortunately, FOX TV's new Fall show DO NOT DISTURB will have a shorter life than NBC's gem KRISTIN.

Posted: 7/9/08 at 10:21pmI really don't have much hope for any show picked up by fox.

Posted: 7/9/08 at 10:52pmI loved The Class too. Do any of you guys remember the last scene of the last episode? It was so good!

Posted: 7/10/08 at 1:30amThe Class was one of my favorites when it came out. I've seen the pilot of this and I thought it was terrible. I really wanted to like it but it was so offensive and would probably do okay on Fox because that's where comedy goes to die.

Posted: 7/10/08 at 11:10amUnless the show is animated, then there is really no hope for a sitcom on fox! Wah wah!

Posted: 7/10/08 at 11:37amI miss the class also. Still don't know why they kept "How I met Your Mother" and cancelled "The Class" (Which, in my opinion was funnier). I don't watch Fox so I won't be seeing this new show.

Posted: 7/10/08 at 12:50pmI love How I Met Your Mother. I'd blame instead Rules of Engagement, which inexplicably got higher ratings when it replaced The Class midseason.

Posted: 7/10/08 at 4:56pmI thought he was believable on The Class. But no,on this new show he will be playing a gay man. As I said, the writing is very Fox and stereotypical and in the pilot I saw, he was definitely exaggerating it.

"Will JTF again attempt to portray a heterosexual?"
Wow... harsh.
I personally don't think he has had any problem carrying off playing a straight person in any of his work...
Heck - I didn't even know he was gay or not in real life...

Posted: 7/10/08 at 5:29pmLoved the class so much, such great comedy and Jesse was fantastic, so I'll watch this. I agree the he seems pretty gay in everything he does, but it worked with Richie. He really doesn't need to exagerate anything

Posted: 7/11/08 at 9:35pmOn my DVR I still have the episode of “The Class” where Richie drives his car into a convenience store, and won’t leave it because there’s no future without his love. In a flash he loses that desperation when he sees Lina in the rear view mirror. A gem.

I LOVED that episode. However, I think the most memborable in the whole series moment was when Jesse was on the stripper pole. That made me laugh so hard!!!!

No, no, no NO! I really loved the Class (Jesse Tyler was so great on it!), but nothing beats "How I Met Your Mother". It's the best sitcom on TV (aside from the Office, of course)...
