Great house for it. The Hudson feels grand, but small.
Dying to know our Torvald.

Has anyone heard anything about who will be playing Torvald?
Would love to see Sebastian Stan, if a name.

Arian Moayed will be Chastain’s Torvald; full casting and design team was just announced. Also, Okieriete Onaodowan is back on Broadway (#KatyPerry)!

There’s a lotta different acting styles in that cast and I hope Jamie Lloyd will be able to navigate that better than Sam Gold. Glad to see Arian back on Broadway after finding screen success with SUCCESSION and other things.

Different acting styles...how so? In any event, Jamie Lloyd has proven himself to be an exceptional director -- especially when reinterpreting classic works -- so I have no doubt he knows what he's doing. Sam Gold will be lucky to ever land another job on Broadway!
It's also interesting that Michael Patrick Thornton (one of the VERY few good elements of Gold's MACBETH) is playing Dr. Rank in this production of A DOLL'S HOUSE. Very much looking forward to this show!
Did anyone happen to catch the Carrie Cracknell production that played at BAM a decade ago?

I know, I love Cracknell's lush style much more than Lloyd's minimalistic approach.

It was perfect and the actress who played Nora was sensational. Would love to see Nina Arianda in that production.
