Have you ever seen her on stage?? According to Sarah Paulson, Jessica will becoming back to Broadway. I want to hear from people who has seen Jessica perform in A Streetcar named Desire or The Glass Menagerie and tell me how she did. Thanks

Posted: 10/12/13 at 11:44amThere is a TV version of her performance of "Streetcar" that can be rented if you're interested. This is not regarding her work, and something sorta gossipy, so I apologize if it offends someone. Someone on this board said she was not very gracious to her fans after the shows, can anyone confirm that?

I've always found her to be incredibly gracious to fans.
Her performance in STREETCAR is fantastic, you should definitely check it out. I saw her late in the run of MENAGERIE and thought she was extraordinary. I think that's one of those instances where someone really grew into a role because reports early on were that she was not very good.

She's polite to her fans. She signs autographs. She's just not particularly warm or chatty.

Most of the criticisms I've read/heard about her stage performances have to do with her not being able to project well. She was stuck in a terrible production of Menagerie, saddled with a lackluster director and reportedly having her co-star removed from the project.
But all accounts I've read on her performance in that London revival of "Long Day's Journey" were glowing. I'm very excited she is bringing that production to New York.
As for as her relationship with fans: She is not all warm and fuzzy. She strikes me as an inherently shy person, so I've never thought of her as being rude. She's just not bubbly.
