Just because you saw camera work on a screen doesn't mean it was recorded. It's entirely possible, and even likely, that the live feed was not recorded and just used for the screens so audiences could see.

Hmm..no. That's a rumour and nothing else.
The key reason the Hollywood Bowl production isn't being filmed is that ALW has denied permission. He has quoted that 2 seperate high profile productions of SUPERSTAR are already in the pipeline and he doesn't want anything to scupper those plans. A transfer to Radio City would definitely be a non-starter.

I wish, especially since it's going to be a minute before we get Broadway or West End or touring revivals given the arena tour attempts from a couple of years back.
