Pink is one devoted mama moving to NYC so her daughter can be closer to bway and pursue her dreams.  And good for Pink for making an effort to jump into the bway community and bring more attention to the Tony's (which she certainly will).  A couple of her songs are already in bway shows, and her tours are super theatrical.  I think it is a fun choice and hopefully will bring new eyeballs to the broadcast

I enjoyed S1 of Schmigadoon but REALLY enjoyed/preferred S2.  Regardlesss, this cast looks great and the show loks fun so may have to geta ticket

supposedly the event is taping Sunday night.  Usually by now there would be at least some rumors and reports re who will be performing etc.  But thus far crickets.

i think this would just be a 3-4 night engagement --  semi-staged Hollywood Bowl concert version.

I would give my left arm to see the Bowl production at Radio City.  I know ALW was musing about MSG but I think 3-4 nights at Radio City makes much more sense.  The production would glow in that venue.

i saw the show a few months ago and it was ....just ok. Agree that his voice is shot...it just was no longer pleasing to my ear if that makes sense.  I kinda thought he was swallowed up by the radio city stage, which was a surprise bc he is a really charismatic performer.  I loved his one man show on bway years ago.  Maybe he just does better in a more intimate setting.  IDK.  

I saw Cabaret with Lambert and Cravalho and really enjoyed it...but I remember walking around the theater thinking holy **** what is the daily cash burn rate of this show.  So much staff, so many pre show dancers and musicians...just tremendously expensive.

as with everything T, I fear that the show will devolve into all of the artists genuflecting before him, and less focus on the artists themselves.

i dont know if he would be interested. Years back he was approached re Hedwig and turned it down

Lambert is incredibly underrated (which is a funny thing to say about a guy who has been fronting Queen for a decade).  He is an amazing and charismatic live vocalist.  I hope there is more theater in his future.

Same..  I would love for them to bring this to Radio City for a week.  It would look and sound gorgeous there.

Stamos is a pro. He probably already knows most of the score.  He will do fine.
