So, I was just watching the Today Show and John Stamos was on... after being asked what he plans on doing when finished with ER, he said that he hopes-or-plans on going back on Broadway.
I had the chance to see him in Cabaret and was very impressed and would be glad to have him back on the stage.
What new shows could he be attached to? Or, is there something on Broadway now that he would join? What are your thoughts...
I am only hoping that he won't do a show that is a "stereotypical" star casting show (Chicago, Grease, etc.) but we'll see!

I'm sure he could play Billy Flynn if he wanted to. The Weisslers would probably be happy to hire him.
If we had to do a revival maybe he could be Billy in the new revival of Sunset Boulevard (if that came about...)
I think he is very talented (and easy on the eyes)
Who is Billy in SUNSET BLVD? Is that Norma's pool boy? Joe's BFF along with Artie?
I'd love to see him on Broadway again!
And yes, he's GORGEOUS!
never quite got to H2$ while he was doing it, always wanted to.
what about him reprising his role as the emcee if they do the Cabaret revival revival? I have a feeling it won't happen and if it did pretty sure Alan Cumming would be attached, but you never know??
After seeing him in "Nine" I really hope not.
MALLARDO, what else have you seen him do?
PS i like your SUGAR/SOME LIKE IT HOT lyric quote. That's one of my favorite "unknown" Styne songs.
I've been fortunate to have seen him on Broadway in: H2$, CABARET and NINE... and he's definitely got the Broadway chops -- stage presence and musicality. I'm one of those rare people that never compares actor's performances and I allow each actor's own interpretation work me over. Thanks to this, I appreciate each actor for what they bring to a role. Yes, some actors may fit a part better, but each actor brings something, regardless.
*sigh*
And he's SOOOOOO adorable........he was on the View today too.
wow... two shows in one day! Busy man
Those photos are great. Although not a Full House fan, no really, I wasn't, but I have always liked John. Would love to have the chance to see him on stage.
I don't know how Rebecca Romign (that isn't spelled right) could leave him for that goofy Jerry O'Connell.
perhaps the blue X-MEN bodypaint got to her brain. Actually, both those guys are hot in different ways. It's like Jessica Lange moving from Baryshnikov to Shepard. Some girls just GET it.
Favorite Stamos guilty pleasure? his horrible sitcom with Jack Klugman, where he also played drums part-time with the Beach Boys. The jeans were tighter than in FULL HOUSE though. My live-in of the time and i called the sitcom FULL PACKAGE.
Yeah, I guess I can see how Jerry is cute in a boy next door way, but John is just gorgeous. And charming. And seems like he'd be a great daddy (although maybe that's just the Uncle Jesse thing).
I don't think I ever saw that other show? Was it on after Full House?
I remember when he was Blackie on General Hospital!

"You Again" listed as 1986, don't know the run dates of FULL HOUSE. i just flip past the syndication sometimes.
i even liked JAKE IN PROGRESS and swallowed my pride for WEDDING WARS.

He was also on the Howard Stern Show this morning for about an hour. He mentioned the Broadway gig there too. He was asked for the timeframe and if it was something that was currently playing or new.
He said it was in May and it was something new (i.e. new revival or new show).
What's new and opening in late April/May??
CARRIE, SUNSET BLVD. and THEY'RE PLAYING OUR SONG.
I also listened to John on The Howard Stern show today. After his interview, Lisa G. of the Howard 100 News interviewed him and he said the Broadway show the he might possibly be in is the revival of The Pirates of Penzance. It is opening in May.
Wow I thought I was the only other Stern Fan on BWW!
BABA BOOEY!
Okay... so I am now watching Conan O'Brien apparently John Stamos is the second guest! How the heck did he do 4 shows in one day?
Today Show
The View
Howard Stern
Conan O'Brien
They all shoot in the morning to afternoon. That is unbelievable! Let's see if he says anything more about the mystery show...
Since when is The Pirates of Penzance having a Broadway revival? Which theatre would it go into? And who would actually go see it? It'll probably open up at the same time Neil LaBute's Reasons to Be Pretty opens--in an alternate dimension.
