This has been mentioned in a thread about Jennifer Dinoia, but figured there should be one specifically about her. Julie Reiber will be going back to her standby role as Elphaba on broadway for about six weeks. This has been posted on her facebook, and I'm sure she will post when she goes on as she usually did during her former run. Very exciting news!

		     			Come on, Julie.

Stop going back into this abusive relationship...

But he said he loves me and I think he means it this time.

Still don't get why she never got lead, but I don't ever expect it, but they must see something in her, if they are having her come back.

She can take a beating.

Then what the hell do they see in Kendra Kassebaum? They're always recylcing, it's nothing new.

I haven't seen Wicked in so long, but if Julie Reiber became lead on Broadway I'd go back and see it.

I know! But it's not Julie that is coming back as standby. It's between Rita and Lucy. It's up on their Facebooks too.

Oh god, this means that 2 certain people that she used to know will be at the theatre everyday waiting for the understudy board to go up to see if Julie is going on. And if she is run to the cancellation line to get tickets.

Are you referring to yourself in this statement?

Nope. I don't even live in NYC so how would I be at the theatre everyday? I haven't been in NYC for almost 2 months. I have a life and don't hang out at theatres waiting to see if someone is going on that day.

I'm clearly not a huge Wicked fan, although I do know Julie, but who are Rita and Lucy?

Rita and Lucy were Janice's standby & understudy from back in 2006.

Dazeto12, yes, really! I've seen Wicked but, as I said, not a big fan. Julie is a friend who I've known for years, long before Wicked was an idea in Gregory Maguire's brain. Is that really so surprising?

The only reason I even posted was in response to Blaxx's post, as I didn't understand what those two individuals mentioned had to do with this discussion. It did seem as though he/she was questioning Julie's return to Wicked, and it's not in question. She was back in rehearsals yesterday.
