I hear he was there the other night with Jerry Mitchell.
What's up with that?
I didn't know he loved musicals!
maybe he's going to replace Nick Lachey as the next Warner?
Maybe he's replacing Elle Woods. Curtainpulldowner, it's amazing how much inside info you're always privy to.

I can just see it now...KFed will probably want to rap "Serious".
How low will all this stunt, reality casting sink at Legally Blonde?
Maybe they should save the time and just cast Mya as Elle (insert "snarkasm" here).
It's not so amazing, it's really a small industry if you work and hang out with TheatreFolk.
Interesting. I'm sure he enjoyed the show.

Yet another reason to avoid that show.
CurtainPullDowner, just curious, do you think the "theaterfolk you work and hang out with" want all sorts of personal speculation (at best) put on a message board?
Why start a thread based on rumors that yu might have heard?
Besides, it's Kevin. WTF cares?
Shouldn't he be taking care of some kids?
You gotta work to take care of kids! That was my thought when I read the original post!
Ah yes, there's that. Classy guy for a classy show.
erm have you stopped to think that maybe he just went to watch the show??
Geez... just because he attended the show (and with Jerry Mitchell) now everyone thinks he plans to join the show. Can't a public personality see a show for the sake of seeing a show.
This same talk started when Mariah Carey attended a performance of NINE (to see Jane's bedsheet entrance to use for her tour). Then Britney Spears at WICKED. Then Fantasia Barrino at THE COLOR PURPLE.
Oh, wait. Yikes -- never mind.
Lol, I love you Kate Shindle...

federline, yo.
So the Palace Theatre was all abuzz last Thursday night...Kevin Federline was in the house.
Laura Bell Bundy spotted him first, in the house seats, sitting next to an enormous bodyguard. I am ashamed to admit that I seriously doubted it was actually him. I mean, come on. Why is that guy in our audience when he's co-raising four kids in L.A.?
But, indeed, he was backstage afterwards, and I have to admit he was very sweet. And much, much cuter in person than I expected.
Our director, Jerry Mitchell, was backstage as well, as was a representative from the producers' office.
Doesn't happen often. Which leads us all to wonder: is he up for a role in our show?
For the record, I thought he was delightful and very well-suited for one soon-to-be-vacated part. I'm just saying.

I love Kate Shindle so much
First taking over New Jersey and now K-Fed.
I officially worship you, Kate Shindle.
Though I don't think he would take such a small role, Federline would actually be really capable in Andy Karl's ensemble track (I believe Karl is leaving in a few months to go into rehearsals for NINE TO FIVE).

Because Federline is a world-reknowned superstar who, at this point in his internationally heralded career, should only take starring roles?
Yankee, I didn't say Federline shouldn't take the role(s). I said he wouldn't.

I know.
And I was talking about what's going on in his head.
Would he really even have a big effect on the box office? Would people really say, "Well, I wasn't going to see Legally Blonde, but now that Kevin Federline is in it, let's go get tickets."????
Would people go out of morbid curiosity?

Not that I would put anything past the Blonde producers at this point but I would hope they have a teeny bit of sense left and realize that if you are going to stunt cast that show, you start with the leads(Elle, Warner, etc..) and NOT Dewey/Kyle.
