^ Real Housewife of Atlanta, but this one can actually sing. She was in a girl group, Xscape, back in the day, and she's still a songwriter with lots of hits under her belt.
I was wondering what show she was talking about also when she mentioned it on WWHL. Chicago? I always think it's Chicago, and I can't imagine any others shows taking on new cast members at the moment (unless it's that temporary Christmas thing).

There's an Instagram video someone posted in September of her manager saying she'll be playing Mama Morton, but no dates given. She also did a very brief stint a few years ago in Newsical.
