Yeah..Kelli O'Hara is doing well in the BWW Awards!!
Show your support for the amazing lady who does the hardest acting job in a current Broadway musical! There is no one who provides such emotion and depth to a role and this lady deserves it!
Plus..she's a super sweet lady. I've met her at Dracula and LITP and she always takes time to talk to her fans.
i voted for her! do you think keenan-bolger is upset she didn't stick with piazza? or is just too happy to be in bee? it's funny that both roles are being talked about for the same award when they have been played in one season by the same actress, no?
Celia Keenan-Bolger played Clara in Light in the Piazza???? Huh? When??

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."

"People have their opinions and that doesn't mean that their opinions are wrong or right. I just take it with a grain of salt because opinions are like as*holes, everyone has one".

Just because Celia played Clara doesn't mean that she'd automatically get the acclaim that O'Hara is getting. I could be wrong....she may be better off in Spelling Bee as far as awards go. I've not heard her sing, but I have seen Piazza at LC and I doubt there are many with as glorious a voice as O'Hara.
"You won't fight without layers of armor
Suit on up and come brace my sword
You look back when the pieces are missing
Hollowed out hope that no time can restore."
Celia sings a LOT less in Bee, but with much similar vocal qualities as Kelli. Interestingly enough, read the Celia interview here on BWW. You'll find this isn't her normal vocal style, either.
I hope Kelli pulls an Idina and sweeps the Tony rug out from under Sara Ramirez. I love Sara's vocals on the cast recording, but I don't like when these things have clear-cut winners before the nominations are even out. Like I said, I hope she surprises everyone by taking home the Tony come June 5th.
