Kenita Miller Still Out of "Xanadu"---

Sort of missed her in it last time--- She's out again tonight.

Anyone know if this is a vacation? (hopefully!!)

Who has been on for Kenita? Patti Murin?
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

Perhaps (hopefully) she had scheduled time out for after the original opening night. I would hate to hear she's injured as well.

We all know the show would go on in great hands when LaChanze was out. But no one ever asked the question, "What happens when Kenita is out?"

Aside from some spacing issues I thought Patti Murrin did a wonderful job Sunday, she managed to make a Carol Brady-esque wig look good!

She was injured, apparently she hurt her foot or something, and was supposed to be out all weekend (but back starting Saturday to do supporting vocals from backstage). Sad to hear that she's still out. Hope she's back and better soon!

Is this show the next Chorus Line with all of the absences.

Patti was great tonight and I'm pretty sure I caught a glimpse of Kenita backstage when one of the ushers opened the side door.

She twisted her ankle but will be back in on Thursday

Yes... I saw Kenita on Sunday walking to the theatre and her left foot was in a cast... :o(
Patti did a GREAT job filling in!
Hopefully Kenita will be mended up by the time of Opening Night...

She was at the stage door tonight after the show. Her understudy was very good, but I do miss Kenita.

On a separate note, on Monday I was walking back from lunch, and I saw a hot guy with rollerskates walking toward the theatre. I heard him say to two ogling girls he was going to the show for rehearsal. I'm guessing the Carpinello incident has forced them to look into hiring some more skaters.

Excellent!

I walked by the theatre today to see if she was out. She was. But glad she'll be back on Thursday.
