To the late comers, Ebersole did a very moving and simple rendition of, "As If We Never Said Goodbye" from "Sunset Boulevard."
Teddy, you've heard me sing Buenos Aires? Have you been sitting in my house all night hearing me sing it after dashing up and down the stairs? If so, tell me how you liked my "As If We Never Said Goodbye"
And I didn't like Roger since the first "What's new" and that's not to say that I feel that Patti's is the only Eva I'll listen to, just don't give me Roger.
Bitch, please. Patti can touch whatever she wants and she can touch it goood.
Maybe I'm just in an extra critical mood tonight, because even Ebersole didn't transend me into heaven. That's a first.
Wait, am I really the only one who didn't like Roger? I'm gonna go re-watch that bit to see if I like it better...
Emily, doll, I'd like to see almost anyone be flipped around and thrown about and sing that song and see how it turns out. Calm your little butt down. I'm in no mood.
Yeah I wasn't sure if the creepy jaw thing was Parkinson's Disease or him trying to sing while all emotional.

Or perhaps it's a tic?
Why is George Bush there? How come ALW looks mad and tired? I'm on the West Coast so it's only been on 20 minutes. I really don't care about Smokey Robinson just get to Dolly and ALW.

I thought this was terrible performances across the board with the exception of Christine.
Um Josh and Elena were gross.

George Bush attended because he's pretty much obligated...

I think he was muttering the words.
And I would like to see the clip of that A on a loop on YouTube.

Yes, Elena looks a little crazed in the eyes. And that number looked like a bad jazz class at the Broadway Dance Center.
Elena Roger.
ROGER.
No plural.
I think it would be the most awkward thing in the world to be receiving an honor and sit up there waiting for your turn. You watch this other person get all the attention for 20 minutes then the next and the next - just KNOWING that you're going to be full of emotion soon. The anticipation must be killer. But to top it all off - you have to sit of there and all this is going on in your mind with GEORGE W. BUSH just a few chairs over.
PAINFUL!!

Gross? In what way? I suppose some of Groban's faces could qualify as "gross," but I didn't think his rendition of Music of the Night was "gross," just uninspired.
Not quite sure how one can find fault with Roger's (her name is Elena Roger, not Rogers) performance...
I'm in no mood.
One would suggest you stay far away from BroadwayWorld.
Doll, I was kidding, t'was not trying to piss you off in any way.
How 'bout this? Chita can get thrown around and sound about 20 times better then how I felt Elena sounded. She just wasn't my cup of tea.

Simpson's part was cut.
Theatrical scissors.
atleast a strand of jessica's hair made it in.
And was ALW tearing up after Buckley's bit?
Ugh, that man...

josh groban was horrible. Find Brad Little, Howard McGillin, anyone else and have himn sing this song. the boy is overated.
and him being a "baritone"? He sings high B's on his cd. I think he should have been able to sing this song.
Was the Smokey Robinson segment the 1st segment? I tuned in just as India Arie came on. She was good. It is still on here in Denver. The Zubin Mehta segment is just starting.
I've never thought highly of Josh Groban. Looks like I won't have much to look forward to in an hour and a half.
