This is really exciting! I haven't seen the film or the Off-Broadway production, but I'm a huge fan of Letts and MacKinnon! Excited to hear about casting and dates!

Is Tracy Letts too old to play the lead? I think it would be amazing to see the playwright star in his own work.

If they got McConnaughey and Gershon to do this, it would be amazing. I feel that this is a play that's going to need either huge stars and/or a very small house in order to have a shot at being successful. It's a very dark and very adult play that's going to be a tough sell.

But it's my favorite Letts play and I can barely sit still I'm so excited for this.

I've only seen the movie but I'm pretty damn excited for this one! Am I correct in thinking that the whole show takes place in the trailer though?

Yes, the show all takes place in the trailer and is more effective than the movie, IMO.

The play had male frontal nudity that was cut in the film. I wonder if they would be cut on Broadway as well.
