I'll be there...can't wait!
I'm excited about Kline, but not too sure about the rest.
Can anyone else see the same cast in Moon Over Buffalo? I just got the image of Kline playing Cyrano in that and thought that Garner would fit the role of his daughter in that play so well...anyway.
I'd definitely like to see it for Kline.
Garner...eh. Anyone know if she'll be taking a night off sometime? I REALLLLLLLY don't like her at all and can't justify the ticket price if she's going to be there.

How about cutting some of those OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOs there, Mike?
Amazing news. All these new plays opening: ROCK 'N' ROLL, IS HE DEAD?, CYMBELINE, PYGMALION and others. Now this! Very exciting.

Well... make that one new play (Rock 'n' Roll).
(To be fair, it's not a bad season for new plays, with Teresa Rebeck's Mauritius, Aaron Sorkin's The Farnsworth Invention and Conor McPherson's The Seafarer joining Tom Stoppard's Rock 'n' Roll on the boards this fall. These days, it's rare when you can fill up the new play category before the end of the year).
I'm really excited about Kline and Garner, particularly Garner who is a divine actress. I wonder how she handles herself on stage.
Who thinks this will be a financial success? And when I say "financial success," I mean selling out every week.
Heybeenfood,
Considering (a)The names that are involved in the production (b) The incredibly short and "STRICTLY LIMITED" length of the play's run and (c) the size of the house, I think its incredibly possible that it could be very close to selling out most of its run.
PS - someone delete those Oooo's!
With the cast and creative team involved expect this show to sell-out weekly.

Hit or miss, at least somebody is taking a chance. Hurray for everybody.
Financially, I am sure it is budgeted to at least break even with 80-90% of the potential gross (NOT attendance). The actors are probably on a variation of 10 grand per against a profit pool or then splitting a percentage of the operating profit above breakeven. They know it is risky all around. Leveaux is probably on minimum royalties with some profit participation. The author collects nothing.
With Garner and Kline don't count on an extension. They could have these few months between other jobs and presto, a theatrical perfect storm.
There will probably be some kind of discount for the first month or so. This will build up the advance.
I believe Michael Riedel reported that they would both be working for Equity scale but getting some extra perks (at least Kline), not sure how much truth there is to it.

Oops, well, I didn't mean original, I just meant opening this season. Should have been clearer.
Count me in for this and Pygmalion!
I love me some A-list Hollywood starlets!
im dying to see jenn garner on stage, she´s always expressed her desire to be on bway.
I know the amex pre-sale starts tomorrow, but what time do tickets usually go on sale on ticketmaster?
I need to know myself. Anyone with insight would be GREATLY appreciated. I'm going to ASSUME it's 12:01am. lol
Mike, would you mind editing those OOOOOS? It stretches out the page and makes it hard to read.
*giggles* Of course, of course!
