She has the comedic chops, the dance training, and that slightly off-kilter quality that the best Roxies have always had. I keep thinking back to her in Spring Awakening, In The Heights, and First Date and she brings such a specific energy to everything.

Lots of young, new cast members have been added in the past year. They cleaned house of the tired, old vets back in February.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

This show has had a bit of a renaissance in the past 3 years to put it mildly. And we have Jinkx Monsoon to thank for kicking that off honestly. It's true that many of the old hats have recently left, so it does feel less creaky, but they still phone it in.

No shade to Jinkx, but I would argue that we have Pamela Anderson to thank for kicking that renaissance off.
