She's actually from New Hampshire.... A very talented young lady with chops and looks to definitely fit SA. She has worked in theatre from a very young age (4 or 5 I'm guessing) and has won Best Actress in a Musical in the NH Theatre Awards as well as starring in many shows in New England. Way to go Alexandra!!!! Have fun on the Great White Way....

I am also a friend of alexandras and people trust me, she is even better than lea michele and her style fits this show perfectly. It is great that she is getting proper recognition for the huge talent that she is. So dont worry, Krysta's role is in very capable hands.

they can say what they want, if they see alexandra they will agree. if they dont see her then they have absolutely no right to say she isnt better.

She Probably will NOT be a Wendla cover because she is underage. She might just cover the other 4 roles.

Well, she's 17, so she actually can cover for Wendla. It would just look extremley odd having someone so young paired up with Groff.

To be honest, she's got a great voice, but nothing special. I don't think she's nearly as good as Lea is vocally. I'll save any more judgements for when I acutally see her perform and see her acting skills.

until she's 18, she can't cover for Wendla. That's why they took back the u/s job from Jen Damiano and just had her cover the other girls. It's all because of that 2 second boobage. I can't wait to see her in the show though. Her photos look great. She looks like the sister of Lauren Pritchard and Remy Zaken. Very adorable. Congrats to her. This just proves OPEN CALLS sometimes do make peoples dreams come true!

I can assure you that the legal age to stimulate sex onstage is 17. It isn't 18. It's 17.

Jenn is only 16 (was 15 at the time) which is why she dosen't cover Wendla.

I don't get why they are restricting Jennifer Damiano from covering Wendla.

People are saying it's because of the nudity, but not all people that perform the role have to do it. Though Lea Michele and Phoebe Stroll both performed the nude scene, Krysta Rodriguez did not.

Why not have Damiano refrain from doing it as well?

I think it might be more of the act of stimulating sex that requires the age limit, but I could be totally wrong.

She did it but, didn't choose to expose herself. It's up to the performer. She definately 100% let Groff undo her entire dress. Maybe that's why you think she didn't?

When I saw Krysta on Easter Sunday she didn't do the nudity. Jon did, and he untied the top of her dress but nothing was exposed. We obviously still got the same idea...lol.

Well is she does no do Wendla, she will swing all the other girl besides Ilse. Since Phoebe is already a cover for Ilse and Jen just got bumped up to swing Ilse.

Jen not being able to swing Wendla is not just about the nudity. Jen is now 16 and you must be 17 in New York to simulate sex on stage in general.
