An awful reminder of the fragility of life and the way it can end so abruptly and devastatingly.
I'm feeling so sorry for his family and friends.

What a great loss for the future of Broadway, and the performing arts. I actually watched Les Mis for the first time just to see him. And I walked out of the theater talking to strangers about how we were so excited for where his career would take him next. Prayers for his family and the cast of Les Mis.
Tragic that he died so young and so soon after having accomplished so much- and at his mother's apartment.
The cause of his death is just the saddest thing.
I wonder if he'll be included in the In Memoriam segment on next year's Tony Awards.

Annoying Actor Friend is trying to get #Dim4Kyle trending on twitter. I really hope this happens.
Absolutely tragic and heartbreaking.
We have suddenly lost Broadway performers before and they did not dim the lights for them, but maybe his history making performance will help get them dimmed.
I don't know how they got through that matinee. https://twitter.com/joespiel/status/637713323149131776

That's what I was thinking.
He is now the #1 trending topic on Facebook.
If you read the comments it appears they had a curtain speech.

Jesus...that's horrible. Young people dying...I obviously didn't now him, but this really shook me up. And listening to Bring Him Home, at the same time..what painfully appropriate lyrics, He was fantastic.
"Let him rest, Heaven blest"
Almost every lyrics in Bring Him Home had that effect on me when watching the video. "He is young, he is only a boy"

This is very sad. I saw him perform at a concert earlier this month. He seemed very nice. It's just very sad.
What an awful loss. My thoughts are with his family and friends and the company of Les Mis.

So tragic. I was there on Thursday and Kyle gave such a polished performance. I had no idea he'd only been on as JVJ a few times. Standing ovation at the end and Kyle looked so happy with how this went, as he deserved to do. My thoughts go out to everyone who knew him.
I'm devastated and shocked. My heart goes out to everyone that knew him.

This is horrible and shocking. I can't imagine how his family must be feeling right now. My heart goes out to them and the entire Les Mis company.
It seem he went to high school with Ansel Elgort, who has only the best to say about him.
This is such sad, sad news. A bright light that has been put out far too soon. My thoughts are with his loved ones.

Wow. Thanks for that.
Also, in case anyone had missed it, Kyle was in that "Broadway Draft" video that was posted last week: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CziskklvRPI&feature=youtu.be
They should/need to release a full video of him as JVJ in Les mis to preserve his voice
I think the person who recorded his first BHH did record the whole show, but I could be wrong.
