I'm pretty sure the first time I saw Jessica Hecht on stage was in the original Bdwy production of ...Ballyhoo. I wonder which role she read here. It would be interesting to see her in the show in a different role, but I wonder how successful the show would be on Broadway if it were to be mounted. It was a pleasant experience when I saw it, but I can't say that it was compelling theater. I'm not sure of the appeal it would have for today's audiences.
This was maybe the first play I ever saw because of the draw of a young Paul Rudd. Hope it comes back.
I would see Kudrow to do King Lear.
