why are we even talking about Laura Bell's replacement. Her contract isn't up until February and who says she's even going to leave. She might renew, it seems she loves doing the show.

Well, I started the Ashley Tisdale rumor. So, if it is true, I think I am going to go into fortune telling.

I didn't really start it. I just suggested the possibility.

I think she could work it though.

I think that Ashley Tisdale is poroably the best actress in the HSM franchise, but her singing voice is like nails on a chalkboard mixed with constant moaning. Kristen Bell(sp?) would work in the role becase she's a smart little cookie. My guess is that many of the repacements in LB are going to be victims of stunt casting.

there what a whole big thread about a TV personality replacing LBB when she leaves in February if she leaves and everyone was SO SURE that it was Kristen Bell...or Bea Arthur

I don't think LBB will leave in Feburary.
She didn't leave Hairspray for a few years, didnt she?
And also, I think she enjoys the show still.
I think she'll extend.
And when does leave, I say promote Annaleigh [a la Wicked]

I love LBB and Legally Blonde but if it goes to London I could easly see this becoming another Drowsy

yeah, there were some rumors about Laura Bell doing the show in London

I personally think Laura Bell will extend (I dont WANT her to because I wish she would do another show), but I think she will stay for at least a couple more months after February. It all depends if she is going to open it in London or not, but yeah, I think she likes doing the show and will want to stay.

And I also think Ashley would be a great Elle :) I kind of hope they stunt cast the role, for some reason.

Why have Bea and Rue replace? We NEED a "Golden Girls" Musical.

Films are being adapted left and right, why not TV?

Plus, we could get NBC to have a Reality show called, "Pick the 10 that you Want!" to decide which episode storylines get included!

I think Annaleigh is great in her track, but I'd like to see her go on as Elle before I think about throwing my hat into that ring... I've heard Becky Gulsvig was amazing in the part. Ultimately I think I'm gonna have to go with Bea. :) Seriously, though, isn't it a little early to be thinking about all of this?

Slightly off topic, I love how a speculative post in one thread becomes a rumor in another. Can I start one?

sorry im just going to bring it back to ashley tisdale, she cant sing first of all there is no way she would be able to pull elle off and second shes a disney girl correct me if im wrong but wouldnt she be next in line for one of the disney musicals?

She wouldn't even be good in a Disney musical. She should just stay away from Broadway if she knows what's good for her. While she's at it, she should just stay away from singing/acting/dancing in general.
