I hadn't thought of them doing MOST HAPPY FELLA, but remember that they were involved with the 2-piano production way back when. Perhaps they feel it's a case of "been there done that."
LCT was a producer, but it was actually a Goodspeed production. Scaled down, two pianos and over 20 years ago. A Beaumont production with a full orchestra would sort of be the opposite of "been there done that".
The Goodman production of Brigadoon should be on Broadway, though I don't see it for LCT, unless it were a co-production at a smaller house. Though Light in the Piazza worked out for them, so maybe.
