"It will leave you with a desire to get up and protest for peace and love and positivity.
"If you like John Lennon, peace, and love, GO SEE LENNON THE MUSICAL!
Give peace a chance by giving Lennon the Musical a chance.
YES is the answer."
Actually, NO is the answer. If I had any desire to see that show, you actually killed it with facile statements like the above.

If you really loved peace and if you really loved love and if you really loved Lennon you'd be offering a plea for a Beatlemania revival too.
Peace liker.

I don't know if you even like peace. The Beatles were really into peace. I think you're, at best, a peace tolerator.
You probably can't even stand love. As Beatlemania said, "All you need is love," and that was a show that made you feel peace and love and flower power and floppy hats.
I think you're just a peace tolerator and a love hater.

While the show really has a strong message of peace, I really think people should see it...regardless of whether they support peace or not.
It's a show with great energy and performances. See it before it's gone!

WHY do we ALWAYS have these really annoying 'please please go and see this show!!' threads?!
If people WANT to see a show they WILL go and see it, and these threads do not change that. If people DON'T want to see a certain show, they won't go see it, no matter how much you plea here. Accept it!

you don't have to read this thread if you don't want to. you don't have to see lennon if you don't want to. but the thread is here so that people who may be sitting on the fence can read more opinions...which is really all they are.
personally, i love lennon, and i'd like it to stay open longer than the end of this week. but it will close soon because of its lack of audience. i'm trying to encourage people to give it a chance should they be bored in NYC and are possibly interested.

Posted: 9/11/05 at 3:55pmTo be honest, this board was one of the reasons I'm gunna see Lennon. It got awful reviews and I don't know ANYTHING about Lennon/the Beatles (my parents made me listen to the Supremes when I was younger). Really, it was the outstanding support of the Lennon fans on this website and my friends who loved this show that really encouraged me to see this show. Otherwise, I really wouldn't have had any interest in seeing Lennon.

Posted: 9/11/05 at 4:03pmI'm just saying that I have absolutely no connection to this show, but I'm glad that there has been an overwhelming acceptance of this show in the bww community. Otherwise, why would I see this show? My lack of connection to Lennon? The horrible reviews on part of the critics? You're hatred of the show??
