I only said everyone should attend a Liza concert as often as possible, but I never said you should CRUISE one.
There will be guys over 40 there, but, after all, they will all be Liza fans.

What is wrong with cruising guys over 40? I like real men. Not twinks. There are some young guys that are real men too. But in general.. twinks are just so annoying.

At least one person in the audience will be a straight woman, I can tell you that for sure.

I can't stop thinking about this...Miss P, I hope to see you there. It is possible I will be at all nine performances. I'm willing to spend my life savings on Liza. (well, maybe not, but the suspense to see this show is killing me)

I think opening night will be THE show to attend. And I wouldn't bank on the last show to be the actual last show.

I saw the show in April in Florida. We were six rows from the stage. My friend complained about the cost of tickets ($100 total with fees). But I said if this show went to Manhattan how much do you think sixth row would be...even if we could get it? Liza was very slimmed down and her voice was outstanding. The only draw back for us...was the Act 2/kaye&Williams Brothers songs. We did not expect this...and I was realling hoping to hear at least one song from the GREAT Pet Shop Boys produced Results. But alas...no such luck. It was still a great evening.

We saw it for $45.00 in Vegas. And a different version of the show at the Hollywood Bowl this summer for $90.00. The NY prices are outrageous. I would hope that for these prices the tech elements of the show will be enhanced. The Kay stuff can use some visual aids to establish who she was and how important she was to our movie musical heritage. I would have also loved to have seen her do some of her Pet Shop Boys stuff. But I think the problem with that material is that it alienates a certain portion of her older female audience. Still... I think it will be worth it to have a good seat to see Liza play the Palace. It will be a event. And the celebrity watching in the audience will probably be fab.

Yes, I too wonder if they will announce an extension.
It seems silly for a two-week run, but also would get more press than simply announcing a three-week run.
Forget it, it's still crazy. Expect the two-week run.

I like Liza and was excited when I got tickets about three or four years ago at the Westbury Fair. Or whatever that place was called. I was very disappointed. She was just going through her divorce from what his name and she hardly was on. She had Ben Vereen take over most of the show, which was not announced. I think again before I got tickets to see her again.

Just had the pre booking form in and I must say that $250 is a bit steep. I'm pleased I saw the show in London at $125
