Would you think it would behoove me to wait to see if any discounts appear for the show? A friend of mine said her last show at the Beacon theatre didn't sell and he was moved from the balcony to the main floor.
I am always leery about waiting, especially for a limited engagement like this. And the ticket would come to about 140 dollars after you add all the fees. I know I would kick myself if a discount comes out after I spend a great deal of money, and as much as I love Liza, it is hard to shell out the money.
What do you think?

Will be there as well--- Got tickets for Dec 12th and 13th---
Btw, for anyone using the Presale --- if you can avoid it, DONT use a Visa card--- They are doing this CC verification thing on Ticketmaster.com (that I have never seen before), but its not loading entirely, once you click "verify" !!!
Called and spoke w/ a TM rep--- seems to be an on-line problem with the "card verifcation"- Was able to use the Presale code over the phone, and got them that way-
Just got mine too! Dec 3, nosebleed row c. It should be fun just to just to watch the crowd and the media before and after, and of course, seeing Liza herself, in this greatest of all possible settings. Can't wait!
RE: "Verification" -- Depending on your bank and/or credit card provider, they ask for a username and password for protection. As proof that you are who say you are, and you're entering YOUR information accordingly. Telecharge did it a while ago, but now, I assume they're not that 'pressed' - I haven't purchased through Ticketmaster recently, but I'm rather surprised they've jumped on the bandwagon. It's not there for decoration, I can assure. It's there for security purposes.
This was the first time I encountered this "problem" using my Visa/Debit card on Ticketmaster. They must have VERY recently implemented this, because I just bought tix thru Ticketmaster.com on Sunday, and didnt have this problem.
Had no problem with it using the automated system.
Mrs R surprised me today with 2 tickets for 12/12 mid orchestra & aisle.
Now I have to treat her to dinner. I told her she can have the best sub @ Subways. I am kidding. She is picking the restaurant & I am quite sure it will cost a few pennies.
Got my tickets first thing this morning with the pre-sale code; 6th row (E), center orchestra on the aisle for Saturday, 12/13! Used my Visa card without any problem. When the verification thingy came up I just ignored it and clicked the "proceed" or "next" button. No problem. BTW, there were two pre-sale codes. Don't know if it made any difference in regard to seat location, but I couldn't be happier with mine! Unfortunately, can't make it on 12/3. Have tickets for Equus that night. Maybe I'll swing by the Palace before the show for some opening night glitz and glamma. Everyone going, enjoy the show!!!
