^ Honestly, I think that's—sadly—wishful thinking. When Tony winners extend their contracts because of their new statues, it's more often than not to attract sales for the production. Ticket sales are a nonissue for Hamilton (duh). They have zero need to advertise their Tony winners, so why might they want/need to extend their contracts?
I agree with BroadwayConcierge. If the ticket sales see a demise after the original cast leaves (which is a non-issue until January 2017 according to current sales), the producers might want some folks to return. Is it possible that Leslie is leaving for the Chicago/ touring production? Not that either of those productions need star billing either.
MyLife said: "If Leslie wins the Tony my bet is that he negotiates a contract extension for 6 more months. Any other result and he will leave in July."
For all we know, he might be leaving because he has another project lined up

The NYT stated that Sydney Harcourt was being looked at for the Chicago run so I doubt Leslie is doing it. The mentioned on NBC that Leslie was leaving to concentrate on his music.
If anything, I think he could pop up as Burr again in London as he has expressed he would love to do the West End.
I think we will see a lot of these folks in London. I also think we have to take everything we hear about casting and extensions and the like with a grain of salt as these things are often posturing on both sides. Just like in baseball and politics.
