Hello! I'm someone who has been browsing these forums for a couple of months now getting ready for my Broadway trip to celebrate my graduation. However, my dad insisted he had all the research down for this trip, and I, against my better judgment, let him take the reigns. We are now in NYC and my father was counting on using TKTs for all the shows we were planning on seeing, but both Three Tall Women and Come from Away aren't offered at that level. I had a couple direct questions for everyone here about them. Hopefully you can help me out because we are really confused with a lot of conflicting information out there.
1. If we are to do rush for Three Tall Women and Come from Away, when should we arrive for them? We're talking Friday, 5/18 for an evening show and a matinee on Saturday, 5/19.
2. Does Three Tall Women actually have a rush line? I've seen posts on this forum saying they've stopped doing that but also people who have said they have got tickets from doing rush.
3. Is rush on Saturday even a thing? Again, getting a lot of conflicting information here, and this is both our first times in NYC period.
4. If we cannot do Three Tall Women at all, what is a recommendation for a play to see? We likely will not have time to do Iceman Cometh or either of the two-part plays for obvious reasons.
Thank you all so much, if anyone can reply to this, I will appreciate it so much. I've been wanting to go to Broadway for the past eight years, and although I'm interested in a lot of shows playing now, these two were definitely at the top of my list. Many thanks!

Yes, it is, but it is hard to gauge rush lines on Saturday, as people are lined up in one queue for both the afternoon and evening shows.
As for Three Tall Women, there are discounts available: https://www.broadwaybox.com/shows/three-tall-women/
Personally, I prefer to use the discount codes and it is slightly more than TKTS, but you free up all that time to actually see NYC and not queue up in Times Square.
According to BrodwayForBrokePeople.com, both shows do a rush, and Come From Away offers standing room as well (usually only if it is sold out). I really can’t gauge how early to get there, but if it were me, I would maybe try around 6am to be safe.
You can use this code for Three Tall Women: 3TBBX915
I like taking the code right to the box office because they usually give you some sort of selection, and you save the service charge.
Hope this helps!

If you’re interested in Angels in America, you could just see Part 1. I haven’t seen this production, but generally it stands on its own pretty well.
Also be warned that Friday and Saturday evenings are the hardest times to get tickets, regardless of how you’re going about it. If it’s an option for you to pay full price for the shows you want to see, I would advise going to the box office and buying them directly. Keep in mind that most shows have a range of prices, so “Full Price” can be as low as $60 or so, if you don’t mind sitting far from the stage.
Good luck! And so sorry your Dad didn’t come through

It sounds like there is no longer a rush for Three Tall Women. There is still a rush for Come From Away if you get there early enough. Between 7 and 8 a.m. would give you a good shot at either seats or standing room which most people think provides a great view. Alternate shows with doable rushes and which are almost always on TKTS include A Band's Visit, Once On This Island and Waitress. If you want to see a play, try The Play That Goes Wrong. You'll laugh your butt off.

Thank you all! It looks like tomorrow morning we will be lining up early (hoping to get there by 7am) for Come from Away tickets at Rush. After that, we will stop on over to the Golden to see if that code works there (I can't get it to work online). If we can't do that, I may try to convince my father on Iceman's matinee but if not, I'm sure we'll find something (I'm thinking Angels, Once On This Island or Band's Visit). Unfortunately, it's unlikely we'll be able to do full price tickets for all of these so close to showtime, but honestly, if I can get one of these two, I'll be very happy.
(As a side note, saw SpongeBob tonight and my god that was spectacular in every sense. Glad I got that one in with the full cast there.)
Blankments, it sounds like you’re having a wonderful first-time Broadway experience. Just go with it. I’m sure you’ll be back many, many times.

The theaters for Come From Away, Iceman and Three Tall Women are all in a row on 45th street. If it's just you and your dad, one of you could wait in the CFA line and the other in Iceman on Friday since each person can buy 2 tickets. If you don't get CFA on Friday, you can go with Iceman and try CFA again on Saturday, a 2 show day. You'll have no problem getting TKTS tix for Band's Visit or Once on This Island if you can't score rush tickets for CFA. There's an app for TKTS you can download to see real time what's being offered and at what discount. Download it and keep in mind, there are 4 TKTS locations, not just Times Square. The 3 besides Times Square will be selling Saturday matinee seats all day on Friday.

Final update if anyone wants to know how this turned out: we saw Come from Away today from SRO which was really fantastic. Like I'm still blown away by how incredible the production was. We already have orchestra seat tickets tomorrow for Iceman Cometh and I'm really excited for that too. This has been a great trip.
Try buying full priced balcony for Thre Tall Women. I looked last night. They are in the rear on the sides but not expensive.
