Why would anyone who wants to be taken seriously as an actress agree to participate in something called "Flock of Dudes"? It sounds like it should feature a pizza delivery boy, cheesy background music, a sliver of script, and an NC-17 rating.

Lea Michele had a fairly nice upper register during Glee's "production" of West Side Story. But she doesn't have the comedic chops for Glinda, IMO.

This movie sounds like it will try too hard to be raunchy and "dude-ish." I've said it before: putting gross-out humor in chick flicks is not doing any favors for women and the issue of how women are portrayed and present in film. It's just telling women that in order to be funny or valuable we have to act like dudes.

I actually think she could act Glinda really easily. IMO she has great comedic timing on GLEE.

When Lea (i'm sorry, Dame Lea) is funny on GLEE, it's not because of any comedic talent she has. It's because she does one thing, one character mode, and scripts are written around that so that, regardless of lack of comic timing or talent, Lea Being Lea Being Rachel Berry will occasionally land jokes.

Heather Morris, another mostly non-actor, has a similarly one-note presentation, but her note is of deadpan, slightly confused and slightly troubled seriousness. The writers took this blankness and crafted it into a comic persona by playing it for absurdity, with tongue permanently in cheek, then pulling back the humor and having unexpected serious moments. The writing changed, but Morris's delivery didn't change much with it- it's actually fairly deft.
