Who other than Sonia Friedman is leading the way?
Rachel Sussman and Eva Price are producing some pretty exciting work on and off-Broadway. LaChanze has also pivoted to producing, and is killing it.

Fran is nearing 100 years old, no? I can’t imagine she’s doing any active producing and Barry is doing most of the heavy lifting.

No list would be complete without Kristin Caskey (now leading ATG) and Barbara Whitman.
Dessie Moynihan is one of the most powerful individuals on broadway: as creative VP of Shubert, she plays a huge role in filling its houses, scouting new work, and developing shows that Shubert lead-produces like Some Like It Hot. She’s retiring soon.
Nicole Kastrinos had a similar role at Jujamcyn and later ATG, and is now moving over to LCT.
How active is LaChanze in developing shows, finding shows, and day to day producing? Because to my knowledge she’s primarily a money raiser who attaches herself to productions put together like other people, in the tradition of ladies like Stephanie McClelland and Willette Klausner and Sue Gilad and Wendy Federman and Jamie Deroy to name a few. Which is not an insignificant role if the person is contributing more than a million per a show, but a totally different job than those who are lead producing.
Fran Weissler has limited day to day involvement nowadays but is a cheerleader. Alecia Parker is Barry’s longtime #2 who makes things happen over there.
Jenny Gersten has dabbled in commercial producing but also had a vital role at Williamstown and now at City Center overseeing all musical theatre activities including Encores. Also of the nonprofit world: Sydney Beers and Lynn Meadow.
Arielle Tepper was super active for years and has slowed down bur still occasionally throws her weight behind a project when she feels inclined to do so.
Beth Williams and Jennifer Costello at separate times had exec roles at John Gore Org/Broadway Across America. Now Beth runs Grove Entertainment and Costello is producing on her own.
Marcia Goldberg and Nancy Gibbs of 321 are primarily general managers but have done a good deal of exec producing.

In addition to Kristin Caskey at ATG, Bee Carrozini is quickly rising there (and fun fact-happens to be Anna Wintour's daughter!).
