I love the melody.

LBB is adorable.

But what Elle wears a jean jacket. I take issue. :)

Why did they film this and how were they able to get so much of it...also...they should film all SHOWS like this...I would buy videos of them...

I think they film all shows in their entirety now, and not just with a master shot.

I would assume for promotional use, and record. Though all tapes or files are under lock and key.

I really like what I see, but did anyone else think Bundy was pretty pitchy in that clip? I've certainly heard her sing that number leagues better than that particular rendition (she seemed flat a lot of the time to me, particularly on the last note.)

Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.

She sounded kind of, I don't know, nasal or something. It's not a bad song, but I couldn't understand the lyrics a lot.

I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

what do u guys think of the new lyrics compared to the old ones? the one thing i hate they cut is where its "maybe shell get one more change i mgith say yes and i might not!" that ws hilarious

I dont know music that well, so Im not sure what the end note is.

but I think that end note is written that way- I dont hear it as flat.

mateo, it isn't that bad, but she's about a step off the note as written. If you've heard the demo recording they've lowered it from where it used to be but kept it higher than the note she was hitting there.

Regardless, I really did enjoy it. They seemed to have done a nice job translating this to the stage.

i thought it looked and sounded great.

i'm not the biggest fan of the new lyrics though. well at least the lyrics that have changed since the demos.

they took out my favorite line which was "behind you was hiding the whole world outside and i've opened the door"

at least i think those were the lyrics.

I thought it was rather "eh" for an Act I closer. The lyrics did nothing for me, either.

She didn't sound as good as she usually does unfortunately. And yes I also noticed the balcony didn't rise, most likely to keep it in the filming frame. Great multiple viewpoints tho, love it.

It was shot well, however I didn't care for anything in it.

They haven't changed it - I saw it last Wednesday and the balcony rose.
