Legally Blonde Non Equity Set Questions

Hi I'm going to see the non eq version of legally blonde will there still be dogs? Are there any changes in the set from the national tour? If so what are they? And are there any cuts in quality? Any info would be helpful,thanx!(basically and info on any Changes from the equity tour and cast quality and set quality)

I saw the equity tour about a year ago. The sets were already extremely cut down do it is hard for me to imagine them making any more cuts to the set, but that does not mean they won't. I am pretty sure they will have dogs too. Enjoy the show!

Thanks so much for the quick feedBack I'm new to this. I ask because I'm sewing the show at a commintity college and I doubt there stage is large so I'm just a little curious. I've seen the bway show on YouTube and clips of the tour (equity) on yotube and there's no delta nu house or staircase to elles room!

after seeing the equity tour the only changes I could see them making for a non-equ production is

* a reduction in the orchestrations.
* non- union actors


I don't know how the could possible change anymore maybe getting rid of the shows act curtain? not quite sure.

Thanx your right about te curtain I saw grease on broadway with max and laurau and the tour and the tour had no curtain....thnks

They'll keep the curtain. The show opens on already running scene.

No matter what they keep/cut/change you may or may not see it all anyway, depending on the size of your venue and show time. I did a non-Eq tour in the past and I can count on both hands the number of times we had the full set. Either the stage would be too small, not enough linesets, not enough time to load it all in, etc, etc.

Thanks by linesets you mean pinrails things that fly in? It is at a college...so hope it's good! It's only There for 1 day and 2 shows

Hannah DeFlumeri posted some pictures on facebook and the curtain, light proscenium and sets are all the same as the equity tour.

From looking around online the set seems like there has been no changes to it from the Equity tour.

What was with the cough like it's a big secret?

And Legally Blonde has never really had consistent details on their costumes.
